‘IT WAS MESMERISING!’

I went to see Hamilton at the Palace Theatre Manchester. The show was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and is about Hamilton's life. Hamilton started out as a orphan, joined the American revolution, married Eliza and the musical tells the story of how he died. I have wanted to see this musical for a few years after seeing it on Disney plus. I really loved the creativity, so you can imagine my excitement when it came to Manchester.

I really enjoyed how the set was laid out as it was historically accurate. I also really enjoyed the energy and enthusiasm of the king, I could tell he was into his role. Hamilton stood out for his acting and his amazing voice. I also liked how they used all of the stage and props which made you feel like you where inside the story. A highlight for me was the choreography of the dancing as it was mesmerising!

I personally didn't enjoy some of the sound at times as the volume was too low. As an audience member I would have preferred for the microphones to be a bit higher. However, overall I didn't think there needed to be much improvement as the cast did a great job.

After being so excited about seeing it, I was not let down. I loved the acting, singing and dancing and would highly recommend this amazing show. I would give this show four stars.

I was walking through the woods on a bright sunny day. I could hear the birds tweeting and I could see a beautiful flower garden. I got so distracted and I tripped over something that looked like a gravy cup, I picked it up and tried to dust it but as I did the ground started shaking! Out popped a magical being… they were pink and looked a bit like a phoenix.The being looked me up and down, clearly judging my messy clothes and then disappeared. At first I was shocked but then I looked down to see a beautiful dress with some gold heels! I picked them up and knew that I didn't have to worry about what to wear for the party tomorrow.
